In Ayurveda, pulse diagnosis or Nadi Pariksha is a profound diagnostic tool used to assess the balance of the three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Unlike modern techniques that rely heavily on machinery, this ancient method uses the fingertips and deep intuition to feel the rhythm, strength, and qualities of the pulse at the wrist.

By gently placing three fingers on the radial artery, an experienced practitioner can detect subtle vibrations and imbalances that reveal the state of not only physical health, but also mental and emotional well-being. The pulse carries deep insight, whether digestion is strong or sluggish, whether there is underlying inflammation, toxin accumulation, or hormonal imbalance.

Pulse reading is especially helpful in identifying the root cause of chronic symptoms before they manifest into disease. It is a cornerstone of preventive care in Ayurveda, empowering individuals to make lifestyle, diet, and herbal adjustments that support long-term balance.

Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, skin conditions, fatigue, or hormonal issues, pulse diagnosis offers a uniquely holistic window into their inner world—making it a vital part of every Ayurvedic consultation.
